ADC Confident Atiku-Amaechi Ticket Will Defeat Tinubu

Bolaji Abdullahi, the spokesperson for the African Democratic Congress (ADC), stated in an exclusive interview that the party is confident that the joint ticket of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and former Minister of Transport Rotimi Amaechi will unseat the current president Bola Ahmed Tinubu and vice president Kashim Shettima in the 2027 general elections. Abdullahi argued that Nigerians are enduring significant hardship under the current administration of the All Progressives Congress (APC), which has led to a clear desire for change among voters.

He pointed out that the last three years of policies under Tinubu's administration have caused suffering, making it unlikely that voters would endorse another four-year term. Abdullahi also highlighted the alarming statistic that 17 million Nigerians are at risk of starvation, emphasizing the failure of the current government to address these issues.

He expressed concerns about potential electoral manipulation but affirmed the ADC's commitment to providing a credible alternative in the upcoming elections.
