ADC Confident Atiku-Amaechi Ticket Will Defeat Tinubu

Bolaji Abdullahi, the spokesman for the African Democratic Congress (ADC), stated that the presidential ticket of Atiku Abubakar and Rotimi Amaechi is a formidable team capable of providing better leadership than the current administration led by Bola Tinubu. Speaking on Channel Television's Politics Today, Abdullahi expressed confidence that the Atiku-Amaechi ticket will win the 2027 general elections.

He noted that all aspirants within the ADC, including Atiku, Amaechi, and Moham Hayatu Deen, possess qualities that would enable them to perform better than Tinubu. Abdullahi confirmed that the ADC will soon formally unveil its presidential ticket and conduct credible primary elections.

He mentioned that Amaechi, who previously contested the presidential primaries, lost to Atiku, who has now emerged as the ADC's presidential candidate. Abdullahi reiterated the party's commitment to consolidating its position ahead of the 2027 elections, where Tinubu represents the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Peter Obi represents the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC).
