Atiku Camp Critiques Bwala Over Al Jazeera Interview

The camp of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has publicly criticized Bwala following his appearance on Al Jazeera, where he was interviewed by journalist Mehdi Hasan. Atiku's media team accused Bwala of political opportunism and attempting to manipulate the narrative regarding the current administration.

In a statement issued on Saturday, Shaibu, Atiku's senior special assistant for public communication, rejected Bwala's claims, describing them as frivolous and an attempt to stage political drama. The interview, according to Shaibu, failed to address significant national challenges and instead exposed contradictions in Bwala's defense of the federal government's record on insecurity and violence in Nigeria.

Shaibu emphasized that Bwala's past political positions undermine his credibility and suggested that his defense of the administration only revealed deeper contradictions within the government's public messaging.
