Atiku's Aide Critiques Bwala's Al Jazeera Interview

Phrank Shaibu, a senior special assistant to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, publicly criticized Daniel Bwala following his interview on Al Jazeera with Mehdi Hasan. Shaibu accused Bwala of being an opportunist who has commodified his political allegiance.

He referred to Bwala's sudden claims of courage as ironic, given his history of supporting President Tinubu's administration after previously being a critic. Shaibu emphasized that Bwala's attempts to recast his narrative as a heroic act were unconvincing and pointed out the contradictions in his statements.

He also remarked on the serious issues facing Nigeria, such as insecurity, which Bwala's defense of the government fails to address adequately. Shaibu concluded that Bwala's efforts to defend the administration were undermined by his past criticisms and questioned his ability to engage in meaningful political discourse, suggesting that his arguments were fundamentally flawed.
