Atiku Abubakar Set to Win ADC Presidential Primary

Umar Ardo, a convenor of the League of Northern Democrats, declared that former Vice President Atiku Abubakar will emerge victorious in the presidential primary of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) if he decides to contest. During a program on AIT, Ardo analyzed possible scenarios leading up to the party's primary elections, noting that a consensus candidate may arise but highlighted the difficulty of major aspirants, including Peter Obi and Rotimi Amaechi, stepping down for a single candidate.

He explained that while Atiku is open to a consensus arrangement, it is unlikely that he would withdraw from the race. Ardo emphasized that the political reality suggests strong support for Atiku, making it clear that he stands a significant chance of clinching the party's ticket, regardless of whether the process is a direct primary or a delegate-based primary.

He asserted that Atiku would win the primary with a 100 percent certainty, even if conducted multiple times.
