Atiku Abubakar Advocates for Affordable Economy in Nigeria

Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the former Vice President and presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), received former First Lady Aisha Buhari in a warm meeting that underscored the urgent need for an economy that supports Nigerian families. In a Facebook post on September 17, Atiku expressed appreciation for Aisha Buhari's visit, stating it served as a reminder of the responsibility to prioritize the welfare of Nigerians.

He pointed out that families across Nigeria are increasingly burdened by the rising costs of food, transport, education, healthcare, and other basic necessities. Atiku called for an economy that rewards hard work and restores opportunities, asserting that Nigerians deserve a system that allows every family to live with dignity and hope.

He concluded with a call to action, stating, “We must ease the burden, restore hope and Make Nigeria Affordable Again.”.
