Titi Abubakar Defends Atiku's Presidential Ambitions

Titi Abubakar, the wife of Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate for the Africa Democratic Congress (ADC), asserted that her husband is not pursuing Nigerians' money but intends to contribute positively to society if elected president in 2027. During a campaign rally, she characterized Atiku as an experienced politician and philanthropist, stating he would not need to learn presidential responsibilities on the job.

Titi expressed pride in Atiku, describing him as a "sellable material" and emphasized his past philanthropic efforts. She mentioned that Atiku plans to guide Nigerians and prepare a successor during his tenure.

Titi also criticized the current administration, lamenting the state of the Nigerian economy and governance, stating, “Now, today, we have no constitution. We have no rule of law.

Nothing is working.” She expressed concern for citizens facing difficulties and indicated that Atiku would focus on developing his deputy, potentially allowing them to succeed him in the future.
