Iran Apologizes to Neighbors Amid Escalating Tensions

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has apologized to neighboring countries for recent attacks in the region, which included missile and drone strikes targeting cities across the Gulf. This apology follows the airstrike that killed Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei on February 28, triggering ongoing conflict.

Pezeshkian, a member of the leadership council, expressed regret over the strikes that have severely affected several neighboring nations. Despite the apology, Iranian missile and drone reports indicate continued targeting of areas in Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates, disrupting operations at Dubai International Airport and affecting major Saudi oil facilities.

Meanwhile, U.S. President Donald Trump warned that Iran would face stronger military action as the conflict intensifies, with the United States and Israel continuing airstrikes on Iranian military installations and nuclear facilities.

The conflict has already resulted in significant casualties, with reports indicating around 1,200 people killed, raising concerns about further escalation in the Persian Gulf and its potential impact on global security and energy markets.
