Cross River Experts Advocate for Autism Awareness and Support in Calabar Walkathon

Experts in Cross River State emphasized the need to stop stigmatizing children with autism, highlighting that they are special individuals deserving love and care, not witches or lesser humans. During the 6th edition Walkathon organized by the Billionaires Health Club in Calabar, Speaker Elvert Ayambem led a walk to raise awareness and support for children with autism.

The Chairman of the club, William Archibong Jr, stressed the importance of providing affected children with the necessary attention and medical care, urging the public to end the stigma associated with autism. This initiative aims to secure government and community support for children with autism and other health-related challenges.
