POS Operators in Nigeria Face Threats to Cashless Economy, Calls for Regulatory Support

President of the Kwara Association of Professional Point Sale Agents (KAPPSA), Mr. Opakunle Ridwan Ayinde, raised concerns about the poor regulatory support for POS operators in Nigeria, posing a threat to the cashless economy.

Ayinde highlighted the vulnerability of POS operators to fraud and systemic inefficiencies due to the lack of adequate regulatory frameworks. He emphasized the need for enhanced regulatory measures to ensure the stability of the cashless economy and protect POS agents from fraudulent activities.
