DJ Salt Unveils New Benz After Car Damage Incident

DJ Salt, known as the sister of Grammy-nominated singer Ayra Starr, recently displayed her new Mercedes-Benz on Instagram, referring to it as her "new toy." This follows an incident where area boys in Lagos damaged her previous car after mistaking her for her sister. Salt expressed her upset over the experience, which aligns with growing complaints from Lagos residents about harassment and vehicle vandalism by area boys, who reportedly target motorists for money.

Media personality Tunde Ednut criticized this practice, noting that expensive cars are increasingly targeted, with threats of damage if motorists refuse to comply. Although Salt did not clarify if the new car was specifically purchased as a replacement for the damaged vehicle or disclose its cost, the timing of her post has drawn attention due to the recent incident.

This situation underscores broader concerns regarding the safety of motorists in certain areas of Lagos.
