Sowore Criticizes El-Rufai, Malami, Lawal for Country's Woes

In an interview with New Central on Friday, Omoyele Sowore, the presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), accused prominent political figures, including former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai, former Attorney General of the Federation Abubakar Malami, and Babachir Lawal, of destroying Nigeria. Sowore expressed his concerns regarding the state of the country and questioned the whereabouts of Senate members and House of Representatives members from the Labour Party, emphasizing the hypocrisy within the political landscape.

He highlighted the need for electoral reforms ahead of the 2027 general elections, stressing that the current political officeholders are detrimental to the nation's progress.
