Bala Mohammed pledges support for Delta PDP ahead of 2027 elections

Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State, Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governors Forum, has pledged full support to the Delta State PDP ahead of the 2027 general elections. During a courtesy visit by a Delta delegation to the Bauchi Government House, Mohammed assured them of his commitment to strengthening the party's chances in the upcoming polls.

He praised the delegation, led by elder statesman Edwin Olley and former Chairman of Warri South Local Government Michael Tidi, for their contributions to the party's growth and electoral victories over the years. Mohammed emphasized the PDP's focus on democratic ideals and pledged to continue identifying and supporting loyal members nationwide.

Olley and Tidi lauded Mohammed's leadership, describing him as a rallying point for PDP unity and direction. They sought his support in repositioning the Delta chapter following the defection of the state governor, emphasizing that Delta has remained a PDP stronghold since the return of democracy.
