Gov Bala Pledges Support To Delta PDP

Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed, has pledged unwavering support to the Delta State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to sustain and strengthen the party across Nigeria. This assurance was given during a meeting with a delegation of prominent Delta PDP leaders at the Government House in Bauchi.

The delegation, led by elder statesman Edwin Olley and Micheal Tidi, praised Governor Bala for his leadership in the PDP Governors Forum and called him a rallying pillar for party unity and survival. The Governor commended the dedication of Olley and Tidi, who are founding members of the PDP, for their refusal to abandon the party despite political defections.

The Delta PDP leaders sought cooperation to reposition the party in the state following the exit of a former governor, emphasizing that Delta has always been a stronghold for the PDP since the Fourth Republic.
