Balogun Acknowledges Controversy Over Red Card Suspension

Folarin Balogun, a striker for the United States national team, admitted that he was aware the suspension of his red card by FIFA would create significant controversy among his teammates during the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Balogun, 25, received an automatic suspension for a serious foul committed against Bosnia and Herzegovina in the last 32.
