Bandits Kill and Abduct Women, Children in Sokoto Attack

On Wednesday night, bandits launched a violent attack on the Dabagin Yari community in Wurno Local Government Area, Sokoto State. The assault resulted in the deaths of several people and injuries to others.

A large number of residents, including women and children, were abducted during the incident. Security analyst Bakatsin disclosed these details in a report on Thursday.

The attack has left the community in deep fear and mourning. Bakatsin criticized the justification of such acts by bandits claiming to act in the name of jihad, emphasizing that Islam clearly forbids the murder of innocents and the kidnapping of women and children, which only serves to spread terror.
