Bandits in Hijabs Attack Sokoto Community, Several Dead

On Saturday night, armed bandits disguised in women's hijabs launched a significant attack on Mallamawar Yari Village, located in Gawakuk Ward, Rabah Local Government Area, Sokoto State. During this assault, several residents were killed, and others were abducted and taken to unknown destinations.

Security analyst Bakatsin noted that the bandits' use of hijabs allegedly allowed them to move without raising suspicion during the attack. This incident has heightened concerns among residents regarding the increasing frequency of such attacks across various communities in Sokoto State.

Despite the alarming situation, there has been no official statement from authorities at the time of this report, raising questions about the measures being taken to address the growing wave of insecurity in the state.
