Barcelona Thrashes Real Madrid 6-0 in Champions League

FC Barcelona achieved a remarkable 6-0 victory over Real Madrid on Thursday, securing their place in the women’s Champions League semi-finals with a commanding 12-2 aggregate score. This win marks Barcelona's eighth consecutive appearance in the semi-finals.

Alexia Putella, a two-time Ballon d'Or winner, opened the scoring in the first half, marking her 500th appearance for the club. Carolin Graham Hansen scored twice, while Ewa Pajor also contributed to the rout.

Despite the absence of key player Aitana Bonmati, Barcelona showcased their dominance at Camp Nou, attracting a crowd of 60,000, the fourth highest in the competition's history. The team, managed by Pere Romeu, will face Bayern Munich in the semi-finals after the German side eliminated Manchester United.

Barcelona has now defeated their rivals Real Madrid six times this season, scoring 25 goals while conceding only two.
