Barcelona's Cubarsi Prepares for Osimhen's Threat in Clash
Barcelona defender Pau Cubarsi has stressed the importance of maintaining focus as his team prepares to face Galatasaray and striker Victor Osimhen in a Champions League match at RAMS Park in Istanbul. This match is part of the 2026-27 league phase and follows Galatasaray's 3-1 defeat to Sporting CP in their European opener.
In contrast, Barcelona arrives after a strong 5-1 victory over Feyenoord and an unbeaten start in La Liga. Cubarsi identified Osimhen as a key concern for Barcelona, noting his potential impact, especially with the support of the home crowd.
Osimhen, who missed Galatasaray's first Champions League match due to an adductor injury, recently returned to action, contributing to a goal in a match against Kasimpasa. His possible inclusion in the starting lineup against Barcelona could significantly boost Galatasaray's attacking capabilities as they seek to recover in their European campaign.
