Galatasaray Eyes Osimhen's Return for Barcelona Clash
Galatasaray is hopeful that Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen will return to action for their UEFA Champions League match against Barcelona on October 13, after missing previous matches due to injury. Osimhen was unavailable for Galatasaray's 3-1 defeat to Sporting CP and a prior match against Frankfurt, significantly impacting the team's performance.
His absence has been felt as Galatasaray struggled to convert scoring opportunities, despite initially taking the lead in both matches. The club's management is cautious about rushing Osimhen back, prioritizing his full recovery.
The upcoming match against Barcelona is seen as a critical opportunity for Galatasaray to regain momentum in the Champions League after their recent setback. The presence of Osimhen is expected to enhance the team's attacking options and provide a necessary outlet against a strong Barcelona side, making his potential return a focal point ahead of the fixture.
