FC Barcelona Secures €510 Million for Camp Nou Redevelopment

FC Barcelona has secured €510 million in new financing to finalize the redevelopment of Spotify Camp Nou, increasing the total funding for the Espai Barça project to over €1.9 billion. This financing was approved during the club's Ordinary General Assembly and will cover additional construction costs, with €300 million allocated for construction and €210 million raised through two Media Notes linked to future audiovisual revenues.

The project has expanded to include more VIP and hospitality spaces, an enhanced museum, improved 5G connectivity, and additional structural reinforcements, leading to over 3,000 reinforcement jobs on the stadium's second tier. Barcelona is currently playing home matches at Camp Nou and expects to complete the 2026/27 season there.

However, the club will temporarily relocate to Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys in Montjuïc from June 2027 to January 2028 for roof installation work. The stadium's capacity is projected to reach around 95,000, with full redevelopment expected before the 2028/29 season.
