Shehu Buba Umar Endorsed for Bauchi Governorship 2027

Two intellectual groups have publicly endorsed Senator Shehu Buba Umar for the governorship position in Bauchi State for the 2027 elections. The endorsement was announced in a joint statement on Monday in Abuja, led by the chairman of the think tank "Dream Bauchi Project," Prof.

Maidoki. The groups assessed the political landscape and concluded that Senator Umar is the best candidate among the various aspirants due to his educational qualifications and extensive experience in both national and local politics.

They expressed confidence that his candidacy would ensure victory for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bauchi State. The groups criticized the current leadership under Governor Bala Abdulkadir Muhammed of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) and emphasized the need for a political shift to address the serious issues facing the state.

They thanked President Bola Tinubu for his leadership and expressed their commitment to supporting Senator Umar in his governorship bid.
