Bauchi Assembly Member Hon. Mohammad Wanzam Passes Away

Hon. Mohammad Wanzam, a member of the Bauchi State House of Assembly representing Sakwa Constituency, has passed away.

The announcement of his death was made by the Speaker of the Bauchi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon.

Abubakar Y. Sulaiman, through a statement signed by his spokesman, Mukhtar Garba Kobi.

The statement described Wanzam as a committed public servant who served his constituency and the state to the best of his abilities. His funeral prayer was held on Sunday at Gwallaga Juma Mosque in Bauchi at 11:00 AM.

The Speaker prayed for Allah to forgive the deceased's shortcomings and accept his good deeds, granting him Aljannatul Firdau. Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed also expressed his condolences, describing Wanzam as a dedicated lawmaker and humble leader whose life was characterized by simplicity and commitment to the welfare and development of his constituency.

The governor noted that Wanzam's death is a significant loss to his family, constituency, and the entire state.
