Bauchi PDP Urges Governor Bala Mohammed to Stay Loyal

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Bauchi State has called on Governor Bala Mohammed to remain loyal to the party, addressing concerns about his possible defection. During a press briefing on Friday, PDP spokesman Mannasseh Marti emphasized the party's resilience and its significant impact since the 2019 elections.

He stated that despite internal disagreements, the PDP is focused on the upcoming 2027 governorship elections and is prepared to present strong candidates. Marti acknowledged that political parties often face challenges that test loyalty, comparing it to personal relationships.

He urged Governor Mohammed to reconsider any thoughts of leaving, highlighting the party's role in his political rise. The PDP expressed confidence that even if the governor were to leave, the party would continue to thrive and remain a formidable force in Bauchi State politics.

Additionally, the party congratulated Haruna Moham Jungudo on his recent emergence as a national public secretary.
