PDP's Ningi Confident of 2027 Win Without Bala Mohammed

Abdul Ningi, the senator representing Bauchi Central Senatorial District, stated in an interview that the People's Democratic Party (PDP) can win the Bauchi State elections in 2027 without the current governor, Bala Mohammed. Ningi emphasized that the party's grassroots structure remains strong despite recent political developments involving Mohammed.

He made these assertions during a political interview aired on Channel Television on Thursday. Ningi noted that the PDP has a history of winning in Bauchi State for 20 years, asserting that the party's success is assured as members will rally behind whoever emerges as the gubernatorial candidate.

He downplayed concerns regarding Mohammed's political stance, suggesting that the PDP does not view any opposition figures, including Yusuf Tuggar, as significant threats. Ningi also highlighted the importance of party discipline and cautioned against desperation ahead of the elections, indicating that the party's survival beyond 2027 is paramount.
