Bayern Munich Eyes Atalanta's Young Defender Ahanor for Potential Transfer

Bayern Munich has included 17-year-old defender Honest Ahanor in their shortlist as they aim to strengthen their defense. Ahanor, who impressed after joining Italian club Genoa last summer, has caught the attention of several top European clubs.

While Bayern is closely monitoring Ahanor for a potential move, Atalanta, where Ahanor currently plays, is unwilling to sell him during the winter transfer window. Ahanor, who is eligible to represent Nigeria despite being born in Italy, remains under contract with Atalanta until 2028, making any potential transfer challenging.

Bayern is also considering other options like Renn center-back J R Jacquet as a replacement for Kim Min Jae, who is set to leave in the summer.
