Ndidi Suspended as Onuachu Eyes Scoring Record

Wilfred Ndidi, a midfielder for Beşiktaş, has been suspended for the upcoming home match against Alanyaspor after receiving his fourth yellow card of the season. Ndidi, who joined Beşiktaş last summer, has contributed two goals and one assist in 25 league appearances, helping the team secure a fourth-place position in the Turkish Super Lig.

The suspension follows a narrow 1-0 defeat to Fenerbahçe. In contrast, Paul Onuachu of Trabzonspor continues to shine, scoring in a 2-1 victory over title rivals Galatasaray, bringing his total to 22 league goals in just 25 appearances.

Onuachu leads the scoring chart in Turkey and is on the verge of breaking the club's single-season foreign scoring record of 24 goals, set by Alexander Sørloth during the 2019-2020 campaign. He needs three more goals to surpass this record and four to reach a milestone of 25 goals in a single season.
