APC Chairman Benjamin Omale Appeals for Peace in Benue

On Saturday, Benjamin Omale, the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Benue State, visited communities in the Benue South Senatorial District that were recently attacked, including Otukpo Nobi, Efuyi Ugboju, Olahimu, Ankpechi, and Ondo Ugboju. During his visit, he appealed to residents to remain calm and refrain from taking the law into their own hands following the violence that resulted in several deaths and injuries.

Omale condemned the killings and destruction of property, acknowledging the pain and trauma experienced by the affected communities. He urged cooperation with security agencies to prevent future attacks and commended their efforts while calling for increased vigilance.

Omale also emphasized the need for collaboration among various stakeholders to maintain peace. He expressed condolences to bereaved families and donated relief materials to support the victims of the attacks.
