APC Chairman Benjamin Omale Calls for Unity Against Insecurity

Benjamin Omale, the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Benue State, has urged collaboration among government levels, traditional rulers, religious leaders, stakeholders, youth, and communities to address the insecurity affecting parts of the state. During his visit on Saturday to communities impacted by violence in the Benue South senatorial district, Omale called for calm and advised residents against taking the law into their own hands.

He condemned the killings and destruction of property in communities such as Otukpo Nobi, Efuyi Ugboju, Olahimu, Ankpechi, and Ondo Ugboju, where many lives were lost and others injured. Omale encouraged cooperation with security agencies by providing timely information to prevent future attacks and praised security personnel for their efforts.

He commended President Bola Tinubu and Governor Hyacinth Alia for their commitment to safety and extended condolences to bereaved families while donating relief materials to victims.
