Aondoakaa Chooses Dr. Ogbenjuwa as Running Mate in Benue

Michael Aondoakaa, the governorship candidate for the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Benue State, has announced Dr. Oyij Ochaek Ogbenjuwa, a 38-year-old, as his running mate.

This decision was unveiled during the PDP state congress held in Makurdi on a Sunday. Aondoakaa, a former Minister of Justice and Attorney General during the Umaru Musa Yar'Adua administration, emphasized his intention to demonstrate the party's commitment to youth engagement and prioritize issues that unite rather than divide.

He pledged that the campaign would not be built on bitterness or hatred but would focus on solutions and unity. Aondoakaa called on every member of the party to work together towards a collective goal, emphasizing the importance of sacrifice and commitment in the journey ahead.

He also sought support from women, elders, religious leaders, and traditional rulers as they prepare for the 2027 elections.
