Benue Varsity Admits 10,000 Students Over Infrastructure Shortage

The Vice Chancellor of Father Adasu University, Makurdi, Simon Ubwa, disclosed that the institution admitted 10,000 students due to a shortage of lecture halls and hostels. Ubwa explained that the university signed an agreement with a private company to build additional hostels and received support from TETFUND.

Despite challenges, academic activities continue, with efforts to address the shortage by next year. Ubwa warned against strike actions and academic misconduct, emphasizing the university's commitment to maintaining integrity and quality education.
