Sanwo-Olu Promises Continued Progress on Lagos Anniversary

On the seventh anniversary of his administration, Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu assured residents that the best is yet to come, emphasizing his commitment to enhancing infrastructure, housing, healthcare, and security projects. In a statement issued on Friday by his special adviser on media and public relations, Gboyega Akosile, Sanwo-Olu reflected on the achievements since he assumed office in 2019.

He expressed gratitude to Lagosians for their support and patience throughout the journey, which he described as a collective effort towards progress. Despite global economic challenges, including the COVID-19 pandemic, Sanwo-Olu stated that his administration remains focused on delivering its agenda.

He also acknowledged President Bola Tinubu's support for Lagos State's progress and urged residents to continue backing government policies. The governor called on private sector players to partner with the state government to strengthen development initiatives and thanked civil servants, traditional rulers, religious leaders, and community stakeholders for their contributions over the past seven years.
