Abdullahi Bewen Ready to Impress After Super Eagles Debut

Abdullahi Bewen made his debut for the Super Eagles during a 2-2 international friendly match against Poland in Warsaw. The 21-year-old player from Baník Ostrava was called up to the senior national team due to the absence of midfielders Alhassan Yusuf and Samson Tijjani, who could not secure visas for the match.

Bewen started the game under coach Eric Chell and played the full 90 minutes, delivering a commendable performance. He expressed his pride in representing Nigeria and his commitment to giving his best whenever called upon.

Bewen's versatility was highlighted as he can operate in multiple positions, which is valuable given the current squad's challenges. He has been enjoying a breakthrough season in the Czech top flight, making 25 league appearances and scoring one goal.
