Kaduna Christian Academy Inaugurated to Combat Insecurity

The Kaduna Christian Academy was inaugurated in Sabon Tasha, Kaduna State, attracting national attention for its innovative approach to combating insecurity through education. The event was officiated by Mr.

Oluwatosin Adeola Ajayi, the Director General of the Department of State Services (DSS), and attended by various government officials, traditional rulers, religious leaders, and community stakeholders. The academy aims to provide quality education to children from less privileged backgrounds, addressing the educational gap in rural and semi-urban communities affected by economic hardship.

The initiative is part of a broader strategy to combat insecurity, as experts argue that education can serve as a powerful tool against extremism. General Christoph Musa, the Minister of Defence, emphasized that military victories alone cannot eliminate the conditions that foster insecurity, advocating for investment in education to empower citizens and reduce vulnerability to criminal elements.
