Binani Joins NDC, Promotes Women's Political Leadership

Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed Binani, the former governorship candidate for Adamawa State, has officially joined the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) after leaving the African Democratic Congress (ADC). During a formal reception in Abuja, Binani expressed her decision was influenced by the NDC's commitment to structured, policy-driven governance.

She highlighted the importance of fairness, justice, and transparency within the party, which she views as essential pillars of democracy. Binani also acknowledged the NDC's growing membership in Adamawa State and pledged to work towards the party's growth across the country.

Former Bayelsa State Governor Seriake Dickson welcomed her, emphasizing the need for women's active participation in politics and the NDC's inclusive platform. Binani's entry is seen as a significant boost for the party, particularly in promoting female political leadership in Nigeria.
