Biodun Stephen and Women in Arts Launch FRAME to Champion Gender Equity in Nollywood

Award-winning filmmaker and producer Biodun Stephen, in collaboration with Women in Arts, introduces FRAME to advocate for gender equity in Nollywood. The initiative, set to debut at the Nigerian Film and TV Summit on August 26, 2025, at Legend Hotel in Ikeja, Lagos, will curate a collection of women's art and provide mentorship, training, and resources for emerging female filmmakers.

FRAME seeks to empower female voices, challenge stereotypes, and promote inclusivity in the male-dominated Nigerian film industry. Biodun Stephen will lead discussions on reshaping the portrayal of women in Nigerian cinema, alongside industry icons like Ego Boyo and Brenda Fashugba, moderated by Wana Udobang.

The program aims to increase female representation and leadership roles in the film and TV industry, fostering a supportive community and breaking harmful stereotypes.
