BIPOGA Wrestling Competition Highlights Top Performers

The 15th biennial police games, known as BIPOGA, were declared open on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba. The wrestling competition commenced on Sunday, showcasing impressive performances across various weight categories.

In the women's 65kg category, Ayodel Esther from Zone 2 clinched first place, followed by Chidera Chibuez from Zone 9 in second, Seleakiar Alfr from Zone 16 in third, and Bless Ebar from Zone 5 finishing fourth. The 97kg Greco-Roman category saw Shadrac Hunu from Headquarters take first place, with Muokokwu Anthoni from Zone 13 in second, Nweze Kingslei from Zone 9 in third, and Theman Luka from Zone 3 in fourth.

In the 77kg Greco-Roman category, Ikechukwu Robinson from Zone 9 emerged victorious, while Nwolisa Kingslei from Zone 13 finished second, Kelvin Nwose from Zone 5 secured third, and Wilson Judg from Zone 3 placed fourth. The wrestling events continued on Monday, focusing on women's categories, including Dimejesi Nkechi from Zone 13 winning gold in the 76kg category.
