Uba Sani's Road Project to Transform Birnin Gwari Communities

Dr. Abdullahi Baba Ahmad, the Managing Director of the Kaduna State Road Agency (KADRA), conducted an inspection of the Bagoma-Gagumi road project, which is part of Governor Uba Sani's initiative to construct 1,345 kilometers of roads across 20 local government areas.

The 36-kilometer road will benefit 66 farming communities in Birnin Gwari, improving access to markets, schools, and healthcare facilities. The project includes a 130-meter bridge over the Kaduna River and is expected to significantly impact the local economy by enhancing transportation for agricultural products.

The contractor, CGC Nigeria Limited, has committed to completing the project ahead of schedule, with workers mobilized to work around the clock. Local residents expressed optimism about the road's potential to transform their lives and create economic opportunities.

The project is anticipated to be completed by the end of the year.
