Bishop Gopep Urges Knights to Uphold Christian Values

During a recent fundraising event in Abuja, Rev. Dr.

Luka Sylvest Gopep, the Auxiliary Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Minna, called on members of the Knights of St. Mulumba Nigeria to uphold Christian values in public leadership.

He urged them to see themselves as ambassadors of Christ, promoting truth, integrity, and positive leadership within Nigeria's political landscape. Bishop Gopep emphasized the importance of their unique position to influence change and contribute to nation-building by reflecting values of truth, justice, and selfless service in both public and private life.

He noted the Knights' longstanding commitment to charity and community development, which has distinguished them for over 70 years through humanitarian service and unwavering support for the Church and society. The event aimed to sustain charitable and evangelistic development activities, reinforcing the Knights' role in strengthening democracy and fostering national development.
