Father Angelo Chidi Unegbu publicly countered the Nigerian Police's claims regarding a viral video that depicted heavily armed men on motorcycles. The video, which has circulated widely on social media, shows armed individuals moving in a convoy, prompting concerns about security.

The Nigerian Police, through spokesperson Anieti Iniedu, stated that the individuals in the video are recognized members of a registered vigilante group in Nigeria, supporting ongoing security operations in the Musawa Matazu Local Government Area of Katsina State. In response, Father Angelo labeled the police's statement as a "blatant lie," expressing his disbelief over the police's attempt to debunk the video.

He criticized the police for insulting the public's intelligence, emphasizing the need for transparency in security matters.
