Boeing 767 Cargo Plane Overshoots Runway in Miami

On September 6, 2023, a Boeing 767-300 cargo aircraft overran a runway at Miami International Airport after landing at approximately 2 p.m. local time. The aircraft had arrived from Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Video footage showed the aircraft, which appeared to have Amazon branding, off the runway and near a road. The US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) reported that air traffic control audio captured ground personnel notifying the control tower about the runway excursion.
