Thibaut Boidin Appointed Chairman of BSG Effective 2026

Mr. Thibaut Boidin has been appointed as the Chairman of the Beer Sector Group (BSG), effective March 5, 2026.

He succeeds Mr. Carlo Coutino, who previously served in this role.

The BSG represents Nigeria's brewing companies and operates as a unified platform to engage with government regulators and stakeholders on policy and regulatory matters affecting the sector. In his new role, Boidin will work closely with the board and the CEO to provide strategic leadership for the group.

His focus will be on advancing critical industry priorities, including shaping sustainable category growth. Boidin expressed his honor at the appointment and emphasized the beer sector's significant contribution to Nigeria's manufacturing economy, highlighting its role in creating three million jobs and generating revenue for the government through local value creation and responsible consumption.
