Pastor Samuel Sanusi Elected Chair of West Africa Bible Society

Pastor Samuel Sanusi has been elected as the chairman of the steering committee for the West Africa Bible Society, as announced by Benjamin Mordi, the media and public relations manager of the Bible Society of Nigeria (BSN). This election took place during a meeting in Lomé, Togo, where leaders from the Affin Group convened.

Sanusi's new leadership role is focused on building a robust regional body that excels in promoting self-sustainability across West and Central Africa. Additionally, he serves as the CEO of the Africa Bible Society based in Nairobi, Kenya, and has accepted responsibilities as the chair of the constitution review committee.

Sanusi expressed his commitment to ensuring that the Affin Group serves as a role model for Bible societies across Africa. He aims to leave behind a self-sustaining West African Bible Society capable of contributing meaningfully to the global fellowship of Bible societies.

The BSN is celebrating its 60th anniversary in February.
