Sunday Dare Rebukes Atiku for Disrespecting Tinubu

Sunday Dare, the Special Adviser on Media and Public Communications to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, condemned Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), for referring to President Tinubu simply as "Bola" during a media briefing. Atiku made a call for the current administration to reduce fuel prices, but Dare accused him of disrespecting the president's official status.

In a post on his X handle, Dare labeled Atiku's address as "the height of insolence" and criticized his appeal for intervention on fuel prices as a desperate political maneuver. Dare stated that Nigerians do not need fiscal management lessons from Atiku, whom he described as a "political wanderer" with a history of opportunism in his pursuit of the presidency.

He emphasized that President Tinubu is focused on restructuring the economy, which has suffered from long-standing issues, and dismissed Atiku's sudden advocacy for government intervention as insincere.
