Abdullahi Critiques Obi's Knowledge of ADC Manifesto

Bolaji Abdullahi, a member of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), stated in a prime-time interview that Peter Obi was unaware of the ADC manifesto and was primarily interested in obtaining a party ticket. Abdullahi asserted that the ADC is a party with a clear ideological structure capable of providing credible alternatives for Nigerians.

He claimed that Obi's focus was solely on securing a ticket rather than engaging with the party's policies. Abdullahi further alleged that Obi received significant concessions within the ADC, including a nomination for the national secretary position, which he described as a core operational role.

He dismissed Obi's claims of needing to leave the party as flimsy excuses, likening it to a woman seeking to exit a marriage. Abdullahi also mentioned that Obi's recent meetings with Rabiu Kwankwaso and Seriake Dickson raised questions about the motivations behind his departure, suggesting a pre-planned effort to divide the opposition.
