Abdullahi: Obi Needs a Party Controlled by One Man

Bolaji Abdullahi, the spokesperson for the African Democratic Congress (ADC), expressed that Peter Obi, a presidential aspirant, cannot survive in the ADC. He asserted that Obi requires a political party that is dominated by a single individual, which would allow him to easily secure a presidential ticket without the need for rigorous internal negotiations or compromises.

Abdullahi shared these views during an interview on Arise Television's prime time on Monday. He also mentioned that Obi's interest in the ADC's presidential ticket is not viable, especially since the party's structure does not support a candidate being chosen by someone else for the running mate position.

Abdullahi indicated that he was relieved by the departure of Rabiu Kwankwaso from the party, suggesting that it had alleviated some concerns within the ADC.
