Army, NSCDC Strengthen Ties to Fight Boko Haram in Borno

The Nigerian Army and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) have pledged to enhance collaboration in the fight against Boko Haram insurgency in Borno State. Brigadier General Ugochukwu Unachukwu of the Nigerian Army and NSCDC's Borno State Commandant, Mohammed Hassan Agalama, affirmed their commitment to joint training and operations to protect lives and property in insurgency-affected communities.

The collaboration aims to strengthen security measures and improve response capabilities to combat the threats posed by Boko Haram and the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) in the region.
