The Borno State Government, in collaboration with development partners, honored exceptional health workers, local government chairmen, and traditional leaders for their efforts in the fight against polio and promotion of healthcare at the grassroots level. Deputy Governor Umar Kadafur emphasized the importance of recognizing and motivating frontline healthcare workers to ensure quality healthcare services for the people of Borno State.

The ceremony aimed to inspire and support healthcare workers while warning against negligence that could hinder healthcare targets in the state.
