Borno Governor Urges LGA Chairmen to Boost Immunization Campaign

Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum, directed the 27 Local Government Area chairmen in the state to intensify the immunization campaign, including routine immunization and integrated measles campaigns. The governor emphasized the importance of traditional rulers in sensitizing the public, especially on preventing polio and other diseases.

Zulum reaffirmed the commitment of his administration to ensuring effective delivery of immunization services across the state, with support from partners like the Aliko Dangote Foundation and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. The directive aims to enhance public health outcomes and increase awareness about the significance of immunization in preventing diseases.
