Boss Mustapha Advocates for Traditional Rulers' Role in Unity

Boss Mustapha, the former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, addressed the significance of traditional institutions as "living institutions" essential for peace and unity in Nigeria during a title conferment ceremony in Numan, Adamawa State. He spoke at an event where Dr. Daniel Ismaila Shaga, the Hama Bachama, conferred honorary titles on 22 distinguished individuals from the Bachama kingdom.

Mustapha noted that traditional institutions serve as a crucial bridge between the government and citizens, helping to connect public policies with local realities. He urged the awardees to embrace their new roles and contribute positively to society.

Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, represented by Deputy Governor Prof. Kaletapwa Farauta, echoed similar sentiments, emphasizing the importance of peace for sustainable development. Among the awardees was Obadiah Simon Nkom, Director General of the Nigeria Mining Cadastre Office, who expressed gratitude for the honor.
